1. What are three words that best describe your personal brand?
Snarky, delicious and colorful
2. Tell us why you’re awesome in two sentences or less.
I am one of the hardest working, most fearless people you will ever meet. Problem with that is that I face-plant quite often but at least it’s entertaining for others.
3. What are your three biggest indulgences?
Hot fudge sundaes, insane hotels/travel, shopping – natch! (The shopping is why I knew I could never last as a nun.)
4. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Whining. Close your mouth and handle it.
5. If you could have dinner with anyone (living or not) who would it be and why?
Richard Branson because I am totally obsessed with how he manages to make so much money while having such a blast. Pure bliss that man is.
6. Why is having a powerful personal brand important to you?
Because everybody has a brand whether they choose to or not. If you’re passive about it your brand is just called stupid. If you actively craft something cool and powerful you can actually accomplish something. Why wouldn’t you create a powerful personal brand? The alternative is so unfortunate and gray.
7. What is your #1 marketing tip for fellow female entrepreneurs?
#1) If you want something from someone do something significant for them first, no strings attached.
#1a) Show your sincere appreciation and try your absolute hardest to be nice even if it kills you. (Not a pushover but likeable, pleasant and FLEXIBLE.) Oh and low maintenance. That’s something that I’m really working on. Please be low maintenance to others.
